In a virtual ceremony held on August 25, 2020, the Fleishman Foundation, chaired by brothers Herman H. and Robert Fleishman, presented the Fleishman Foundation Scholarship at IEST-Anáhuac University. It is the third Scholarship granted to students at this Institution, adding to the two scholarships awarded last year, supporting bright young people with a social vision to study college.
With this Scholarship, the Fleishman Foundation covers the entire tuition cost at IEST-Anáhuac, including participation in the IMPULSA program of this Institution, which is a leadership program comprised of young people showing high social conscience, sensitivity, and concern to carry out high-impact projects to transform our community.
In the Fleishman Foundation Scholarship ceremony, Gloria Laura Septién, the Rector, and Eduardo Melendez assisted on behalf of the University. On behalf of GT GLOBAL and the Fleishman Foundation, Sergio Rodríguez Almaguer, Mariana Priego Zavala, and a number of executives attended. They all celebrated Luz América Valdez, recipient of the Fleishman Foundation Scholarship for the year 2020.
IEST-Anahuac is a renowned educational institution in Southern Tamaulipas, with 46 years of training positive action leaders and contributing to the development of our society. They are part of the Anahuac University Network, with which they share their educational model of comprehensive training.
The delivery of this Scholarship is one more of the actions carried out by the Fleishman Foundation for the benefit of our community. With this initiative, they promote the development of young people to transform their lives through education, professional training, and strengthening their social commitment to developing the skills that will allow them to positively influence our society.
