The Fleishman Foundation and GT GLOBAL, chaired by brothers Herman and Robert Fleishman, continue supporting Southern Tamaulipas to face the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the Tampico-Miramar Rotarians, an essential donation of $140,000 pesos was given. Medical supplies were provided to the Torre Cantú Hospital in Altamira, a hospital designated for the care of COVID-19 patients, thanks to this donation.
Sergio Rodríguez Almaguer, Director of Human and Legal Capital at GT GLOBAL, and Mariana Priego, Manager at Fundación Fleishman, gave the donation to the Tampico-Miramar Rotary Club at the headquarters of GT GLOBAL. Daniel Meza, President of the Tampico-Miramar Rotary Club, together with Dr. Jorge Delgado, Salvador Salazar, Amílcar Plaza, and Joel Del Ángel, recognized the hard work of the Fleishman Foundation in these difficult times and thanked this critical support that has enabled them to purchase the most urgent medical needed to provide health care to Covid 19 patients at the Rodolfo Torre Cantú Hospital.
With this donation, the Tampico-Miramar Rotary Club delivered medical supplies to Dr. José Manuel Sierra Castillo, Director of the Rodolfo Torre Cantú Hospital, including 500 N95 masks, 100 hospital gowns, 90 medical safety glasses, 50 plastic masks, 25 thermometers laser, and 25 digital blood pressure instruments, which will be of great help for medical staff in providing health care to citizens due to the global pandemic of COVID-19 in our area.
With this critical support, the Fleishman Foundation and GT GLOBAL confirm their support to our community so that together we can overcome this contingency.
